About · a letter from the founder
Who's behind this
I'd rather you heard this straight from me.
My name is Isaac, and I'll be honest with you from the start: I'm not really a coder, and I'm not from the world that usually builds things like this.
I live in a small rented house in Australia with my mum and dad, who are getting older now. To keep the lights on I do casual labouring — proper physical work. A couple of months ago I set it down for a while to give this everything I've got. Nobody's funding me; I don't know any investors, and I wouldn't know how to find one. What I've actually got is a second-hand MacBook I paid three hundred dollars for, a Claude subscription, a head full of ideas most people would call mad, and enough coffee to see me through the late nights.
You should know exactly who’s on the other end of this. It isn’t a company. It’s one bloke who couldn’t shake an idea.
What I want is to make things — strange, careful things that leave people a little better than they were. Atonr is my first real go at it. If it turns out to be the only thing I ever pull off, at least I'll have built something I actually believed in.
So here's my ask, plainly: have a go on the site. Tell me what's wrong with it — I'd genuinely rather know than not. And if any of it lands for you, tell someone. I read everything that comes back.
I take pride in what I make, and I'm not going anywhere. Thank you for being here — truly. I won't let you down.
— Isaac
